The XA B turntable has a premium 10-inch aluminum tonearm with sturdy bearings for precise tracking that perfectly matches the acrylic's sound qualities. It comes pre-installed with the Pro-Ject Pick It PRO B MM cartridge, so you don't have to worry about adjustments. This cartridge offers "true-balanced" output compatibility, making it easy to pair with XLR-compatible Pro-Ject preamps for cleaner sound with less noise and interference. For those wanting to explore various record mats or cartridges, the aluminum tonearm base lets you fine-tune the azimuth and vertical tracking angle (VTA).

Platter of fact

The XA-B's heavy-duty, die-cast aluminum platter stands strong on its own, but what makes it even more impressive is the inner ring crafted from TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), which helps to dampen unwanted resonances. Pro-ject takes it a step further by including their Record Puck E stabilizing weight, which firmly presses your vinyl against the turntable platter to bring out more depth in the sound. And the whole table sits on special TPE damped, metal feet, to further limit vibrations no matter where you set it up.
