Each voice has 3 sound engine modes, an HP/BP/LP filter and 8 controls for nuanced sound design, including an internal BBD FX send and an external send/return for outboard effects processing per voice. All voice parameter settings can be saved as KITS. To add dynamics to the performance, parameter automation is implemented and a modulation LFO can be assigned to all parameters on each voice.
Additionally, each voice has a dedicated trigger input, individual output, and FX send and return with 1/4" jack sockets, along with extensive MIDI implementation. All voices are summed and run through a built-in compressor. The PERKONS offers 64 drum kits and a 64-pattern memory with additional memory available from an optional SD card. Each of the 16-step sequences can be chained for up to 64 steps, allowing for longer patterns, while the per-step ratcheting and probability helps humanize the patterns allowing the machine to groove organically. The PERKONS includes a universal power supply.
